Connecting the dots.

My grandmother Leah was a craft teacher in her adult life. At her leisure, she used to stroll through the kibbutz, picking flowers and drying the petals between the pages of a newspaper. When dry, she would put one leaf next to the other, make figures from them and create worlds.

My grandfather Yehuda was the chief national pharmacist of Israel.

My mother Liora was a physiotherapist, treating people living alongside the Sea of Galilee to reduce their pain. Knowing that the Sea of Galilee was the best of medicines – a combination of water, air, sun heat and body movement – she used to send her patients to swim.

My father is a man of nature and education. First and foremost a bird lover, agricultural teacher, and a tourist guide. He also accompanies people on their last journey.

When I connect the dots that make me who I am today, the picture of sunlight and the stability of the earth becomes clearer. I am a combination of healing and education who connects art, medicine and the worlds of nature and movement. This is how I become a woman who explores nature, and nature motifs become part of her work. I become a woman with an inner container that can help people heal and grow from their pain. I become a woman who is in touch with the healing power of nature, full of inspiration for art and connecting people.
